Corsican Pine is a conical tree, slender in outline when young, its branches are more horizontal than those of other pines. The needles are long, arranged in pairs on the twig and sometimes twisted. This tree is a variety of Austrian pine but has much greater value as a timber tree because of its thinner branches and straight cylindrical trunk.
