The Copper Beech tree is similar to the green beech but produces beautiful purple (copper) leaves from March through to September. If allowed will grow into a large tree, reaching 15ft in 10 years. Likes dry and shady sites but will require lots of watering for the first year. Can also be used for hedging. The current height & quantity of trees is shown above. For hedging we would recommend planting 1 plant per 9 inches for a single row and 2 plants per 9 inches for a zig zag (belt and braces) double row.
